Christie is a BAFTA and BFIA-qualifying filmmaker based in London UK, originally from the US. Christie focuses on coming of age stories that centre around how our hardest choices shape us at any age.

Her recent film, Girls Together has screened at festivals across the UK and US and has won Best Family Friendly at Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Best Student Film at the UK Film Awards, Best First Time Filmmaker at Milan Indie Film Festival, Best Youth Actress at Venice Short film festival, and more.

She is a current ScreenSkills Editing Trainee for the 2026 cohort and has had placements with BBC Film and ITVx as both a Trainee Assistant Editor as well as a 2nd Assistant editor.

In the short film world, christie has cut multiple award winning and nominated short films from festivals such as the 2024 Cornwall Short Film Festival, 2024 Indy Shorts International FilmFestival, 2023 London Music Video Film Festival and more. She is well versed cutting in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, ProTools, and DaVinci Resolve. She is proficient at meeting the requirements of the production from scripted films, documentaries, commercials, and social media spots for Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok.

Christie’s background in filmmaking positions her as an informed editor and filmmaker, able to understand the team around her and make decisions based on what the story demands. She aims to champion women filmmakers and creators and finds joy in telling female lead stories.
